24 Hour Oxygen Products
Our rentals include oxygen concentrators or portable oxygen tanks. All of our equipment can be rented nightly or weekly, and can be delivered to your door. Purchases are also available for both new and used equipment.Oxygen Concentrator
For the quickest and simplest way to adjust to altitude, we recommend using our oxygen concentrator - especially for your first two nights of sleep. Because they produce their own oxygen, filling is never required. The concentrator is very quiet when running, and can supply two people with oxygen at the same time. Note that concentrators must be plugged into a power outlet and are portable from room to room at only 25lbs.
** While concentrators can be used at any time, using oxygen at night is especially effective because of the body’s slower breathing rate during sleep.
Concentrator How To
Using a concentrator is very simple, requiring only the following steps:
* Plug concentrator into a wall outlet and turn on. (make sure outlet has power or alarm will continue to sound!)
* Set oxygen flow rate. (average is 1.5 liters per minute, for two guests double setting to 3.0 liters per minute)
* Plug breathing tube into concentrator and adjust nose piece for comfort. (To the nose, over the ears, and back in front of you)
* Do not exceed 2 liters per minute per person.
Portable Oxygen
We offer three sizes of oxygen tanks. All tanks come with shoulder straps, adjustable flow rates and one breathing tube. Under normal usage (1.5 liters per minute) these will provide oxygen for the following times.
Small (weighs 3lbs) - 1 hour
Medium (weighs 3.5lbs) - 2 hours
Large (weights 7 lbs) - 4.5 hours
Portable How To
Using portable oxygen is very simple, requiring only the following steps:
* Set dial on end of blue regulator to 0 (zero).
* Take black wrench and turn top silver valve stem slowly counterclockwise until it stops. If top valve has a short toggle arm, turn the arm fully counterclockwise.
* Check gauge on blue regulator and make sure tank has pressure. (Note that pressure will not show as full if tank is cold, BUT will increase once temperature increases.)
* Connect breathing tube to port on side of blue regulator (beneath the adjustable dial) and adjust nose piece for comfort (to the nose, over the ears, and back in front of you).
* Adjust dial on end of blue regulator to 1.5 liters per minute. Do not exceed 2 liters per minute.
